On The Water Safety Tips
We all love to be on the water, that can also cause the water to be crowded and even more dangerous than it already is. Here are a few safety tips that you can use to make your next outing a little more enjoyable and a lot less stressful.
1.Always have enough life jackets for everybody in the boat, it is not just a suggestion, it is the law.
2.Keep a spare propeller in the boat along with all the necessary tools that you will need to replace it.
3. Keep some sort of sound producing device in the boat so that you can get someone else's attention if you are in distress.
4. Always check the weather before heading out to the water so that no surprise storms leave you or any in in your boat stranded.
5. Finally, always keep some sort of marine radio in the boat so that if anything happens that is life threatening you can make a mayday call and be rescued.
Just following at least one of these things listed above may save your life one day. No matter where you choose to go, always use safety precautions and be aware of your surroundings!
